The idea was conceived.
The first draft of the script was produced and the puppet designs developed.
The prototype puppets were made.
We had our first, ten day research and development workshop. The workshop was supported by Old Vic New Voices, and held at Abacus Arts in London.
Our First Festival application was successful, but the production had to be postponed due to other commitments of the Creative Director (Alice’s Adventures Underground).
The digital company Acknowledgement advise us on a strong online strategy and discuss the potential for celebrity recordings of the original story, to be used as CrowdFunding rewards and promotional tools.
We had our second research and development workshops, which were supported by Emma Brünjes Productions and Les Enfants Terribles.
The Little Angel Theatre approaches ‘Steadfast’ and offers exclusive presentation at the Hatch Festival in September. They also offer a run in February 2016 and open discussions on a UK Tour next summer.
The production is awarded the full amount of funding requested from Arts Council England.
Rehearsals to begin at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama for the Hatch Festival.
The first preview of the show was presented at the Hatch Festival, at the Little Angel Theatre.
The show has been shortlisted for the Les Enfants Terrible Award. An extract will be performed at the showcase on 26th February. to present the production at the Les Enfants Terribles Award showcase on 25th February. Click here to book tickets.
